Prof. Dr. Karl Frauendorfer

Prof. Dr. Karl Frauendorfer heads the Institute for Operations Research and Computational Finance. In addition, he is Dean of the School of Finance.

Prof. Dr. Karl Frauendorfer is full professor for Operations Research at the University of St. Gallen. He heads the Institute for Operations Research and Computational Finance ior/cf-HSG. At the same time, he is Dean of the School of Finance SoF-HSG. He focuses his research activities on stochastic optimization and on design and implementation of management models in the energy and financial sector. He won the Latsis price of the University of St. Gallen in 1995.
